The room was transformed with a modern color shift from deep blue to light gray, complemented by refreshed baseboards, window trim, and ceiling finishes. To prepare for new carpeting, we removed the existing quarter-round in the area shown on the right.

Closet Door Refinishing

Door hardware and attached shoe rack were removed, the surface was properly sanded and leveled, and the door was refinished in solid white. The previous yellowing and chipped paint were completely corrected for a seamless finish.

Cross Beam Refinishing & Crown Molding Installation

The cross beam was sanded to remove existing texture, skim coated to achieve a smooth, flush finish, and refinished. Crown molding was installed to enhance the architectural detail, followed by a full repaint for a clean, cohesive appearance.

Mantel Refinishing & Crow Molding Installation

The existing fireplace mantel was sanded and refinished before being repainted in a bright white finish for a clean, updated look. The surrounding wall texture was corrected and repainted to ensure a smooth, cohesive appearance. Crown molding was installed, properly caulked, and repainted to complete the upgraded architectural detail.

Living Room Repaint & Trim Refresh

Curtain hardware was removed and patched, trim and window sills were refinished, and the walls and ceiling were repainted. A visible ceiling repair in the upper left corner was corrected to restore a smooth surface. Crown molding was installed, caulked, and finished to enhance the room’s architectural definition.
